Axellio Reaches Phase I of U.S. Army xTechSearch InitiativeCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sept 13, 2018 — AXELLIO announced the U.S. Army has selected its portable FabricXpress™ edge computing platform as a Phase I awardee in the Expeditionary Technology Search (xTechSearch) Army technology modernization initiative.

The Army xTechSearch initiative is a prize competition sponsored by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology to attract game-changing innovation and novel technology solutions to pitch to Army leadership officials.

xTechSearch seeks to spur development of leap-ahead technologies for the Army of the future by identifying paradigm breaking technologies in alignment with the Army’s modernization priorities. The program will award $2 million to competing companies over the next several months.
