Bill Alexander

Bill Alexander is an experienced financial executive with extensive experience helping high-tech companies grow. Bill has served as both CFO and CIO of several successful venture capital backed and start-up software companies. He recently served as an executive at Configuresoft Inc., where he helped the company grow quickly leading to a successful acquisition by EMC Corp. Earlier in his career he served as a founder and the CFO of The Software Edge Inc., a software development tools vendor, where he guided the company from inception to a successful acquisition by Intersolv, Inc. Prior to his more recent start-up experience, he served at Hewlett-Packard in a variety of financial management positions and has also worked for Microsoft Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
